Purpose of the grant: To develop and support courageous high school principals willing to examine and implement best practices that address educational equity and result in optimal student learning.
CAPP received 47 quality proposals and awarded 11 schools based on the strength of their proposal and because as a group, they represent California’s diversity with respect to geography, size, urban/rural setting, student body, and Academic Performance Index.
