| Highlights of the 2006/07 CSU Trustees’ Support Budget
$33.6 million for mandatory cost obligations, including
$18.7 million for health benefit increases
- $65.1 million for 2.5 percent enrollment growth (8,306 FTES)
- $32.7 million to augment financial aid for the CSU’s neediest students
- $77.4 million for a 3 percent compensation pool for all employees effective
July 1, 2006
- $16.6 million for a 0.64 percent compensation pool for all employees to
fund the first-year costs of a five-year plan to close the CSU’s salary gap
- $2.5 million to address long-term shortfalls in funding for library
acquisitions
- $2.5 million to continue reductions in the backlog of deferred maintenance
- $5 million for the build-out of the information technology infrastructure
