Lou Monville is the Vice President of O’Reilly Public Relations, providing both tactical and strategic public affairs counsel to business and public agency clients throughout the Inland Empire.

Monville’s areas of expertise include land-use entitlement, water and energy project development as well as public education and community outreach programs.

Before joining the firm, Monville served in the California Governor’s administration, directing the activities of the Governor’s Inland Empire office. While holding that position, Monville served as an advisor to the administration in several key policy areas, including business and economic reform, class-size reduction and infrastructure development.

Monville has extensive experience in California politics including providing strategic counsel on several statewide initiatives as well as grassroots organization to presidential races; additionally, he worked for two members of the California Assembly.

Before entering the political arena, Monville worked in the sports industry. He was public relations coordinator for the Riverside Pilots Minor League Baseball Team and conducted marketing and promotions for Coyote Athletics at California State University, San Bernardino.

Monville’s business acumen was recognized in 1999 by the Inland Empire Business Journal when he was named one of the region’s top 40 business leaders under forty years of age.

Monville formerly served on the California Community College Board of Governors. Appointed to this board by the Governor, this board sets the policy for the 109 Community Colleges in California.

Monville currently serves on the boards of the California Inland Empire Council Boy Scouts of America and the President’s Advancement Council at California State University, San Bernardino.

Monville holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from California State University, San Bernardino.
