Acknowledgement
We have reviewed the comments made during the 2008 Customer Satisfaction Survey and thank those who took the time to provide feedback and respond to this portion of the survey. Our goal is to continually improve our service through staff training, conducting surveys to obtain customer input, and maintaining open channels of communication.

Response to Additional Comments (Building Security)
During this past year, we completed our recruitment for an additional full-time officer and a part-time officer. With this staff, we are able to conduct additional patrols of the building and grounds and be available to escort employees to their cars if they are concerned about their safety. We are aware of our customers concerns in crossing the street from our building to the South Lot. In an attempt to increase the visibility of the stop sign and safety for our employees and visitors, we contacted the City of Long Beach regarding the repainting of the crosswalk and stop sign markings on the street which was completed; we replaced the light on the street directly in front of our building; and had the trees trimmed back along the edge of the street to improve the ability of oncoming cars to see the stop sign. We appreciate all the comments provided to us as part of the survey and these will be included in our staff meetings and performance appraisals.
