Degree Audit

The Information Technology Services department of the Chancellor's Office is working with campuses to implement CMS based degree audit functionality. This PeopleSoft Student Administration (SA) application can capture and store transcript information, advising rules and transfer credit rules. More importantly, it enables these data to be compared and processed to provide faculty and students current information on student progress and options for degree completion.

Degree audit reports indicate which requirements have been met and how, as well as identify where there are deficiencies. PeopleSoft also allows for "what if" scenarios - if the student is considering changing majors (plans). Students, faculty and staff can initiate a degree audit report from the web.
