Budgeted FTE Enrollment; R = Reported; P = Percent difference. A negative sign indicates the reported FTE enrollment was less than the budgeted FTE. Off-campus center FTE are included in campus figures. Table 25 Enrollment Patterns in the CSU 1992-93 College Year Table 25 provides summaries by campus of the variations in attendance of students within the college year. Students may attend for as few as one or as many as four terms depending upon the individual campus. Rows 1 through 4 of the table (labelled ñOne Termî) present the number of students enrolling for only one term of the 1992-93 academic calendar for any given campus. Rows 6 through 10 present the number of students enrolling for two terms. Since a campus may have as few as two and as many as four terms in its calendar, students counted in these categories may be attending for all or only a portion of a campus academic year depending on the campus. Rows 11 through 14 indicate the number of students enrolled for three terms (on campuses using the quarter system) and Row 15 presents the number of students enrolled for all four terms on a year round operation (YRO) campus. Enrollments in Rows 1 through 15 are "unduplicated"; that is, no student is counted more than once in these rows. For example, none of the enrollment counted in Row 2 (Fall Only) is counted in Rows 8, 9, 11, or 14. Rows 18 through 21 summarize the by-term enrollment on each campus. As such, they can be calculated by adding together appropriate information from Rows 1 through 15. For example, at Bakersfield Row 19 (Total Fall Enrollment) can be found by adding together Rows 2 (Fall Only), 8 (Fall and Winter), 9 (Fall and Spring), and 14 (Fall, Winter, and Spring). These rows represent all of the possible combinations of attendance patterns on a three-quarter system campus. Row 22 represents the total number of individuals enrolled at any time during the college year. Again, this figure represents only unduplicated enrollment; students are counted only once regardless of the number of terms for which they were enrolled. For any campus, the Net Individuals shown in the table can be calculated by adding together all of the enrollments shown on Rows 1 through 15. For the CSU as a whole, a total of 396,129 individuals enrolled at some time during the 1992-93 college year. Of these, 241,770 or 61.0 percent were enrolled for a full academic year on a CSU campus. For purposes of comparison, a student attended for a "full academic year" at a YRO campus if they were in attendance for three of the four quarters in the campus calendar. At Stanislaus, a student was defined to have been in attendance for a full academic year if they attended for two or more terms. The "full attendance rate" cannot be calculated directly from aggregate data for the CSU; each campus calendar must be taken into account in order to determine the number of students enrolled for the entire year on a given campus.
