In 2008, the steering committee selected the first three “beta site” campuses to receive Compass subgrants, supporting innovations they proposed:

Beta site work was reflected and multiplied through the system by networks of change, facilitated by meetings, conferences, and AAC&U consultation.

In its next phase, the project plans to identify and support pilot innovations on additional CSU campuses, in cooperation with community colleges in their service areas. Read the case for support.
