- Brother and sister team built Klean Kanteen into a household brand name, building on the sustainability theme of producing safe, BPA free, reusable stainless steel drink containers.
- Vision has been to reduce or eliminate the environmental impact of plastic containers on the planet. Their philosophy is firmly fixed on the task of making healthy, high-quality goods that will faithfully replace a lifetime of single-use items.
- Member of 1% for the Planet, a global movement of companies donating at least 1% of their annual net revenues to environmental organizations worldwide.
- Klean Kanteen recently completed requirements to become a certified benefit corporation. A “B Corp” meets rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.
- Honored with the Breast Cancer Fund (BCF) Hero Award in 2010 and are active supporters of the BCF's work to eliminate BPA from all food and beverage containers.
