• Founded LEDtronics in 1983, which today is one of the world's leaders in designing, manufacturing and packaging energy-efficient, environmentally friendly light-emitting diode (LED) lamps to some of the world's largest Fortune 500 companies.
• Recipient of the United States Small Business Administration's Award for Excellence.
• Member of the International Circle of the World Affairs Council, and an active member of the U.S. Trade Advisory Committee for California's 36th Congressional District.
• Prior to coming to the United States, set up a world-class carpet manufacturing plant in Karachi, Pakistan.
