California's nonprofit leaders rely on their CSU education in managing the complex and growing services delivered by the state's 115,000 nonprofit corporations.
California leads the nation in the number of nonprofit organizations with over 115,000 registered in the state. These vital corporations depend on trained professionals to help them achieve their mission and serve their clients. Many of these nonprofit administrators come from the CSU's business and public administration programs. The CSU awarded 54 percent of all business bachelor's degrees in California in 2007 and 64 percent of all master's degrees in public administration.
