• Owns 40 restaurants in four different companies throughout California and Oregon, including Applebee's, Marie Callender's, Burger King, and Logan's Roadhouse.
• Employs 2,400 people, each who has the opportunity to earn college scholarships provided by his company.
• Was named Restaurateur of the Year in 2004.
• His company, AB Enterprises, which runs 11 Applebee's Restaurants, was ranked 87th out of 200 restaurant franchises by Restaurant Finance Monitor in 2005.
• A native of Hong Kong, he came to the United States to attend college at CSU Long Beach.
