  • A third-generation farmer in Kern and Imperial Counties, he started Dan Andrews Farms, LLC, a fruit and vegetable growing and shipping company.
  • Dan Andrews Farms ships 1,000,000 cartons of fresh produce annually with half the production distributed within California.
  • Employs 15 full-time employees and hundreds of seasonal workers.
  • Named Most Valuable Player on the 1990 Cal Poly Pomona baseball team and played two seasons for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
  • Instrumental in helping to launch a new $7 million state-of-the-art baseball facility improvement project at Cal Poly Pomona.
  • Served as a page in the opening and closing ceremonies of the XXIII Olympiad for the 1984 summer games held in Los Angeles.
