My Story, My CSU
- My fondest college memory
Has to be my graduation from CSU San Bernardino. Even though I was a mid-career, returning adult student, my family made a big deal out of it. I received an official class ring from my parents, formal graduation photos, and a restaurant dinner for family members and friends complete with a “cap and gown” cake! I was really moved by their recognition of my accomplishments. - My favorite professor
There were many that contributed to my success, but I distinctly recall enjoying Steve Levy’s (now Emeritus) classes. He made some difficult management subjects interesting and even enjoyable…and he occasionally threw a great party! - My first job out of college
I worked full-time for the County of San Bernardino the entire time I was enrolled and used our generous tuition reimbursement program to cover my college costs. Being a working student was tough, but afforded me the opportunity to actively apply what I was learning on the job. - My proudest accomplishment
Being named CSUSB’s Alumni Advocate of the Year in 2008! I enjoy volunteering with the Alumni Association and encourage all Coyotes to get involved and serve!
