John Gibbs is Chief of Staff and Policy Director to Santa Clara County Supervisor Mike Wasserman. Over the last 24 years he has served as political aide and consultant to members of the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, and worked on campaigns for transportation, library, and parks measures.
He is the Past-President of the San José State University Alumni Association, was selected as the 2007 California State University Advocate of the Year for SJSU, and served on the Board of Directors of the Tower Foundation Board.
Mr. Gibbs has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration from San Jose State University, as well as a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Willamette University College of Law. He is also the Chair of the Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Commission.
