Trustees Confirmed by the Senate Rules Committee

Earlier this year Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger announced the reappointment of William Hauck and Henry Mendoza to the California State University Board of Trustees (BOT). The legislature did not formally take action on their confirmation until this week when the Senate Rules committee voted to move their confirmation to the full Senate for a vote.

William Hauck is the current president of the California Business Roundtable and has served on the BOT for two prior terms. Mr Hauck has a long history in Sacramento political and policy matters and is recognized by both Democrats and Republicans as a thoughtful leader.

Mr. Hauck is a graduate of San Jose State University with a BA in social science where he was active in student government.

Henry Mendoza is the Managing Partner of Mendoza Berger & Company, LLP, a regional certified public accounting firm with offices in Irvine and Los Angeles. His career spans more than 27 years in public accounting. Mr. Mendoza is also a former president of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Mendoza is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton – B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Henry resides in San Clemente with his wife, Rosa and their two daughters, Sofia and Isabella and has been a lifetime resident of California.

With the confirmations of Trustees Hauck and Mendoza, the CSU will be looking ahead to one more additional confirmation of Linda Lang, the chairman and chief executive officer for Jack in the Box later this year.
