Legislators Sponsor CSU Nursing Bill
The CSU is pleased to announce that two legislators have agreed to carry the university’s sponsored legislations on the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Assembly Member Pedro Nava from Santa Barbara and Assembly Member Juan Arambula from Fresno are joint authors of the bill. More »

CSU Participates in Diversity Hearing
During a joint legislative hearing last week both the CSU and the UC were given an opportunity to share with the legislature steps being taken at both universities to ensure diversity needs are being met in light of recent budget cuts. More »

The legislative session has begun in earnest and measures are finally being introduced and committees been announced. Given most work in Sacramento is focused on the budget, policy and fiscal committees will probably not start meeting and hearing measures until the end of February.More »
