CSU ADN to BSN Nursing Roadmaps

I am 18 years old and currently enrolled in my second semester of the CSU Long Beach BSN program. I chose this program because they offered a bachelor’s degree in nursing and had a well-established nursing school with a good reputation. I want a bachelor’s degree in nursing because hospitals are hiring more BSN applicants than ADN applicants for RN positions. The education required for a bachelor’s degree in nursing creates a more confident and educated nurse in critical thinking and assessment skills, and a BSN will allow me to provide the best possible care to patients. The faculty in the nursing program are outstanding—some of the most distinguished nurses in California—with extensive research and clinical experience. The professors are encouraging and work to ensure that the material and techniques taught within each new semester build on what students learned in previous semesters. I highly recommend pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing, whether you are just starting out or already have an associate’s degree in nursing.
