Cynthia Compean successfully attended training at CSUN Assistive Technology Applications Certificate Program.

Compean created an accessible AT website for Assistive Technology.

Oehlman created an accessible ATI website.

Marc Oehlman created and implemented IMAP.

Cynthia Compean successfully trained staff and students in Assistive technology.

Marc Oehlman successfully became compliance officer for ATI.

"CAT" Center for Academic Technology successfully trained faculty in an accessible ilearn Learning Management System.

Web team successfully implemented Charlotte web templates to create accessible web pages.

IT has fully committed to staff training: All impacted IT and university staff have received/attended ATI training in all areas.

Center for Academic Technologies has committed to certification training for the Assistive Technology Specialist at CSUN.

CAT has worked with IT to modify their websites to be accessible.

CSUMB has a central site for accessibility. (http://csumb.edu/accessibility)

CAT staff include accessibility as part of daily operations and planning. (From train the trainer model.)

Website skin is XHTML compliant and working towards higher usability.

Course schedule site to be fully accessible and dynamic for Fall, 2008 registration. (Starts April, 2008.)

IMAP has active and equitable campus representation in IMAP advisory group; tenured/tenure-track faculty representation from all three colleges along with Library, CAT, SDR, staff, and student representation.

IMAP and ATI executive have issued the first non-compliance “ticket” in regards to media content on the CSUMB home page. (CAT is facilitating compliance.)

Web Accessibility has active and representative members from the campus.

CSUMB has an AT training program for students, faculty, and staff.

CSUMB textbook identification marketing, communications, process and timeline for all terms in place in collaboration with Barnes and Noble bookstore.

CSUMB has started planning for a comprehensive database for ATI compliance over the next four years.

CSUMB Academic Senate resolution in support of accessibility, going beyond early identification of text-based materials milestone to include all areas of accessibility.

CSUMB Presidential letter of support for accessibility.

All official CSUMB-produced media production fully accessible before release; identified and allocated support/resources for baseline media events.

CSUMB is proactive in engaging partnered vendor application development for accessibility. (Ingeniux CMS, Cartella.)

CSUMB has initiated in the academic technologies area (CAT) a proactive stance on requiring VPAT’s for ALL procurement regardless of costs.

CSUMB IT, CAT, and SDR have identified funds for faculty training, dialogues, forums, and other activities through the end of the fiscal year.

CSUMB Procurement working with CAT to build web-based training modules for procurement.

CSUMB CAT continue to procure and build training materials as well as an online certificate program for faculty and staff.

CSUMB ATI is working with SDR, CAT, Procurement, Web Services, Bookstore, and Academic Senate to clearly identify, document, and make transparent critical processes and workflow for accessibility.
