Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI)

CUDA 508 Training

On October 1, the ATI started a project together with the Center for Useability, Design and Accessibility (CUDA) at CSULB under the direction of Gerry Hanley, funded by the California Emerging Technology Fund. Our goal is to develop and implement testing protocols to evaluate E&IT products for 508 compliance, with eventual end-user testing.

As part of our initial gearing up effort, we are holding a two-day training session at the CUDA Lab on 508 guidelines and conformance evaluation on November 5 and 6. This is a great opportunity to build momentum on 508 compliance.
