Best Practices in Accessibility Procurement: CSU San Jose. San Jose State’s 508 procurement implementation is exceptional for its depth, scope and originality.

Best Practices in Accessible Instructional Materials: CSU Pomona. Cal Poly Pomona’s partnership between the Disabled Students Program and the campus bookstore is very significant for its innovation and importance as a model.

Best Practices in Web Accessibility: CSU San Luis Obispo. SLO’s hard work and dedication to web access have paid off with an exceptionally accessible site.

Special ATI Partnership: EnACT Project, CSU Sonoma. The Accessible Technology Initiative truly values EnACT’s instrumental role in the inception of the ATI, as well as its ongoing partnership with ATI. The campuses that have participated in the EnACT grant have made outstanding progress in accomplishing the goals of the ATI.

Accessible Technology Pioneer Award: CSU Northridge. CSUN’s Annual Conference on Technology and Persons with Disabilities has advanced the field of accessible technology through bringing together the foremost academic experts, technology innovators and companies, and consumer advocates in one venue. The annual CSUN conference marks major product releases, important research announcements, and is the most popular meeting place for this growing industry. The CSU is proud that this conference contributes so much to our mutual goal of creating an inclusive society through accessible technology. We are honored that President Koester will receive this award.
