Commendation of Michael Ault

WHEREAS, Professor Ault has served in numerous capacities on the Academic Senate, CSU (ASCSU), including as an active member of the Fiscal and Governmental Affairs Committee (FGA), the Chancellor’s General Education Advisory Committee, the Financial Aid Advisory Council, the Sustainability Advisory Subcommittee on Education and Research, and the Committee on International Programs; and

WHEREAS, Michael Ault has also recently served in numerous leadership roles at CSU, Bakersfield, including as Chair of Political Science, a member of the Executive Committee of the Senate, and the Vice President of California Faculty Association (CFA); and

WHEREAS, Dr. Ault is known as a minute taker extraordinaire for FGA meetings; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Michael Ault has shared his wisdom and insights about all things political, helping the ASCSU attempt to better comprehend the mystery that is California government; and

WHEREAS, The ASCSU has benefited from Michael’s good will and kind heart; be it therefore

RESOLVED: That the ASCSU thank Professor Ault for his service to the ASCSU and the CSU; and be it further

RESOLVED: That we wish Michael well as he continues to contribute to his campus and the CSU in his various faculty roles, including the establishment of the Earl Warren Institute.
