International and Summer Programs

International Programs (IP) is the systemwide study abroad program of the California State University System. Participants earn resident academic credit at their CSU campuses while they pursue full-time study at a host university or special study center abroad. The International Programs serves the needs of students in over 100 academic majors. IP is affiliated with more than 70 universities and institutions of higher education in 18 countries.

International Engagement: The California State University is engaged globally in a wide variety of activities. Individual CSU campuses are involved in a variety of activities including international students, study abroad, ESL, and joint and collaborative activities. International Engagement at the system level is engaged in working collaboratively with campuses and establishing policy for the 23 campus system. The system study abroad program is listed above.

Summer Arts - California State University Summer Arts is a multidisciplinary systemwide program offering academic credit plus a festival in the visual, performing, and literary arts. The academic component offers two-week residency courses for undergraduates, graduates, and professionals in creative writing, dance, music, film, video, theatre, performance, visual arts, design, arts education, and new technology. CSU Summer Arts is currently hosted by CSU Monterey Bay during the month of July.
