| Following a Year Round Operations (YRO) Feasibility Study
in April 2000, the CSU began the process of expanding state-supported
year round operations in Summer 2001. With conversion funding
provided by the legislature, most of the enrollment of matriculated
students on 10 campuses was converted from self-support to state-support.
The legislature also provided funding to "buy-down"
summer fees on non-YRO campuses to the State University Fee level.
In summer 2002, one additional campus was funded for conversion.
Conversion to state-supported YRO on the remaining campuses will
be contingent upon receiving funding from the state. |
