Conference Call Report February 9, 2001
Participating: Deborah Schaeffer (Chair), Kathleen Messer, Pat Lavigna, Gail Cosmo, Marvin Pollard, Lore Gravino (recorder), Ying Liu, Ben Schapiro, Mark Derrick Deborah welcomed everyone to the committee and opened with a review of the minutes of the previous Phone Conference on February 2, 2001. No questions were asked regarding its contents and everybody approved it. The agenda is outlined as follows: Update on overview memo and training records: Both the Cover sheet submitted by Deborah and the training records chart made by Jo Ann were approved to be sent out to pre pilot sites before testing. Jo Ann – Chico’s - example filled out request will be so labeled so that other sites will not use the same titles, etc. Workstation needs: For RSS to be installed and working properly Marvin has reiterated that every workstation at the minimum should have windows 95 or better. Names of contact person (s), and their phone numbers should be submitted as soon as possible. Marvin will keep in touch with each sites system people to install. Deborah will make a mock up sheet to fill in for workstation needs for each campus to fill in. Today, being the deadline for sending the configuration list to Marvin, he reports that CHU is being followed up and he is waiting for CSA’s. Update on Attendees for March: Attendees from the far north are encouraged to arrive the night before of the training session, to avoid delays. Almost everybody has hotel reservations, some are waiting to book flights. Some from the south are driving for the day and have not indicated needs for lodging. CHU – Marvin reported that this Endeavor campus is getting their software upgraded and configured in preparation for the pilot test and should be ready by then. Other businesses: Deborah will gather all information regarding training from all pilot sites to send to Darren by the 23rd of February. Non-ILL ICS task force members may have RSS installed on their workstations if they so desire. Ben Schapiro suggests a document style sheet of directions on how to report problems on RSS. Detailed reporting is suggested so that they will be able to recreate situational problems as encountered by users to be able to help them. Next Conference Call: None for pre pilot subcommittee during the week of Feb 12-15 as it will be a short week. Deborah will send emails as needed.
