After campus records have been inventoried, campuses should appraise the 
records to determine retention periods and proper disposition guidelines.  
Records common to most agencies have been appraised on a statewide basis.  
Retention periods have been established for these records to guide agencies in 
preparing their Records Retention Schedules.
