Trust funds for The California State University are authorized by the 
Education Code, Sections 89721--89725 and Government Code, Sections 16304-
-16305.  In addition, the State Administrative Manual (SAM), Section 7430, 
defines trust funds.

A complete listing of trust fund numbers and titles appears in Appendix 1 of 
the Financial Accounting System (FAS) Code book as State Fund F-O 
(Fiduciary:  Trust and Agenda---Other).  Authorization and use references for 
each fund can be found in the FAS Code Book, Section E, by fund number.

Trust funds labeled "State" in the following table may be used by State 
agencies in addition to The California State University; policies and funding 
are determined by the Legislature and control agencies other than The 
California State University; policies are determined by CSU Trustees and the 
Chancellor's Office.
