3111.06  DATA PROCESSING

Instructions related to Schedule 2 form preparation and data processing 
procedures are contained in the revised "Budget Data System---User 
Documentation," dated March 1, 1975, Section B47SFR.

Computer-run decks will be used for processing the campus submission for 
PMP, using the Remote-Job-Entry (RJE) technique.  Run decks for this 
purpose are located at the campus computer center.

The printouts of these programs automatically show the tape number of the 
input and output files used;  therefore, a run-request form is required.  
Submission to the campus computer center then will consist of a deck of data 
cards and a note to the data manager indicating the run deck to be processed.

For the Special Funds PMP process, the program to be used is:

The corresponding section of the Budget Data System---User Documentation 
contains specific instructions for the job setup and output verification.  Note 
that the input tape number 021439 shown in the User Documentation is still 
applicable.

After the report has been received from the Data Center, it should be 
reviewed for keypunching and/or coding errors as well as for the surplus or 
deficit amounts.  If major problems are found, corrected cards should be 
prepared, the erroneous cards destroyed, and the job resubmitted to the Data 
Center.

Complete computer output of the campus submission, consisting of job 
accounting information (including pages showing output tape number), 
listing of input cards, and Schedule 2 tabulation is required by BPA.
