2809.01  BID PROCESS FOR HIRING OUTSIDE AUDITORS

The outside auditors are hired through a bid process conducted by the 
Chancellor's Office, Auxiliary and Business Services.  The request for 
proposal is prepared in consultation with campus business officers and 
directors of financial aid.  The proposals also are evaluated by business officers 
and directors of financial aid under the direction of the Chancellor's Office, 
Auxiliary and Business Services.
