SUAM Appendices BA 2982-ABS and BA 2983-ABS illustrate an official 
notice of funding for campus-based programs.

In Appendix BA 2982-ABS, note the distinction in NDSL between the 
allocation (award) and the level of expenditures. The allocation is the 
maximum federal funds which the institution may draw down for the 
referenced award period.  The level of expenditure is the maximum which 
may be expended in the program during the period, including collections and 
institutional contributions.
