2158  CHARGES FOR SERVICES FROM OTHER FUNDS

Reference:  ABS 83-30.

Costs to provide support services to campus housing operations may be 
reimbursed by the Dormitory Revenue Fund - Housing.  Reimbursement 
shall be made

"... in accordance with appropriate written agreements or memorandums of 
understanding which shall contain the basis and rationale for the valuation 
of services or the method used to compute it."

Reimbursement may be made for indirect and direct incremental costs only.  
The written agreement providing for such reimbursement should provide a 
description of the service provided, the incremental cost of providing the 
service to the housing program, and information regarding how the costs 
were derived.  The agreement should be updated periodically to reflect 
changes resulting from program alterations or cost adjustments.
