CSU Quality Improvement


2006 Quality Improvement Awards

This is a great opportunity to recognize those individuals in your organization who are going the extra mile to make a difference. We urge you to take advantage of this opportunity to recognize those who work hard to make their campuses better places to learn.

Please submit your nominations for these awards by January 18, 2006. The specific award criteria, forms, and nomination process can be found below. Nominations will be reviewed and final recommendations made by a committee of representatives from across the CSU.

  • QI Champion of the Year - To recognize the efforts of an individual who has demonstrated leadership in the pursuit of Quality Improvement on his/her campus or Systemwide.
  • Distinguished Service in QI - To recognize the significant, long-term contributions and/or service of an individual who has been active in the systemwide QI programs or their campus QI effort.
  • QI Facilitator of the Year - To recognize the efforts of a Quality Improvement Facilitator for outstanding achievement in leading campus QI efforts and serving as an educator and mentor for the Quality Improvement initiative.
  • QI Function Chair of the Year - To recognize the efforts of a Quality Improvement Function Chair for outstanding achievement in leading a QI function group’s efforts within the CSU system.
  • Innovative Practice - To recognize innovative practices that have a significant impact on programs, a major improvement in processes, services, productivity, etc., or which advance a practice beyond the level of current standards.
