  Call For 2007 Quality Improvment Award Nominations 

 

Every year, the CSU recognizes QI achievements across the system at an annual awards event. Last year’s awards were presented at the 2006 QI Symposium in Los Angeles. Individuals awarded were:

  • Mike Lee, Sacramento (QI Champion)
  • Neal Hoss, San Marcos (Honorable Mention – Champion)
  • Scott Charmack, Long Beach (Distinguished Service)
  • Mishelle Laws, Long Beach (QI Facilitator)
  • Dirk Ruthrauff, Sacramento (QI Function Chair)

Team awards were presented to the Employee Self-Service Team at Long Beach and the University Space Committee at San Marcos (honorable mention). New in 2006,the Innovative Practice Award was awarded to three campuses – San Luis Obispo (Recruitment Communications), San Marcos (Professional Writers Series) and Long Beach (Advisor Request Process).

For 2007, the award nomination process is currently open and closes Friday, January 12, 2007. The award selection committee will review submissions and recommend awards for presentation at the 2007 Symposium luncheon scheduled for February 22 at the Foster City Crowne Plaza Hotel.

We invite your nominations for the following:

  • Distinguished Service in QI Award
  • QI Facilitator of the Year Award
  • QI Function Chair of the Year Award
  • QI Champion of the Year Award
  • QI Team of the Year Award
  • Innovative Practice Award
