| Quality Improvement Programs – Action
for Excellence: More Than Just “The
Right Thing To Do” |
|
| Quality
Improvement has chartered a new beginning
— action for excellence. While we
have not changed the commitment to our core
activities — performance measurement,
customer satisfaction, and process improvement
— we have changed our focus to offering
these solutions in flexible ways that will
promote the alignment of the various initiatives
and the results to achieve the campus’
desired goals. More.

Focus
on the value of the information — not
necessarily the format. We often see
executives focused on the layout of a report
and pay little attention to the valuable information
that should be gleaned from it.
One
of the biggest challenges is weaning management
away from a certain paper report or layout.
Executives should challenge themselves to identify
what information they truly need to make better
decisions and how they can get this information
in a timely and cost effective manner.
