Welcome!

We are delighted that you are interested in spending a few days of your summer at our annual Teacher-Scholar Summer Institute (TSSI)! We hope that you will find the workshops and activities stimulating and that the TSSI will provide an opportunity for reflection, renewal, and conversation with colleagues from throughout the system.

The TSSI events are among ITL's most popular programs. Because we cannot admit all interested faculty, the ITL Advisory Board and the TSSI Planning Committee have established some criteria. We will give preference to faculty who can participate in the entire TSSI and to faculty who have not attended a recent TSSI, and we will do our best to distribute spaces among registrants from as many campuses as possible to make each workshop a systemwide event. Your chances for acceptance will be higher if you provide alternate choices for Session A (one-day workshops) and Session B (two-day workshops).

To be considered for the TSSI, you must apply by April 12, 2003. We will review applications and distribute notifications as quickly as we can after that deadline, and we hope to complete this process by the end of April.
