General Information
-
Typically, the SCO will process the GSI retroactive to the effective date of the GSI for that fiscal year (e.g., 07/01/07 for FY 2007/08). The GSI is applied to individual salary rates of all active employees and to all steps of all bargaining unit classifications.
-
Employees appointed after the effective date for that year, but before the mass update is run, will have the GSI applied to their salary. This includes new hires.
-
Transactions posted prior to the GSI with an effective date later than the effective date of the GSI will be corrected to reflect the GSI.
