Marc Mootchnik

Marc Mootchnik joined the Office of General Counsel in April 2001. He is the University Counsel for San Diego State University. Marc has also served as University Counsel for CSU San Marcos, CSU Monterey Bay, the California Maritime Academy, and the Chancellor’s Office. He is also the Team Leader for the Human Resources Team within the Office of General Counsel and the Office of General Counsel’s resource attorney for Collective Bargaining, Wage and Hour, PERB and Governance/Open Meetings. Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel, he worked at the law firms of Riordan & McKinzie, Rintala, Smoot, Jaenicke & Rees, and Collins & Bellenghi, practicing in the areas of business litigation and labor and employment law.
