Andrea Gunn Eaton

Andrea Gunn Eaton joined the Office of General Counsel in 2005 and is University Counsel for the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona campus. She is the Office of General Counsel’s Business and Finance Team Leader and is the resource attorney on California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Public-Private Partnership, Construction and Land Use matters. Ms. Eaton previously served on the Office of General Counsel Litigation Team, and was responsible for litigating a variety of systemwide and campus-based matters in state and federal courts. Following an externship with the Honorable Joseph C. Wilkinson, Jr., United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, Ms. Eaton was a National Association for Public Interest Law Fellow with the Texas Civil Rights Project, where she led public education efforts and litigation regarding student peer-to-peer sexual harassment and comparable sports and educational opportunities in rural Texas secondary schools. Prior to coming to the Office of General Counsel, she was a Senior Associate with Seyfarth Shaw LLP, where she specialized in Labor and Employment litigation. Ms. Eaton is licensed to practice in California and Texas.
