Legislative Advocacy TEAM Day

The CSU is holding a one-day advocacy conference for all campus-based teams on February 8th at the Sacramento Hyatt Regency.

This conference is geared toward the Vice Presidents of Advancement, Public Information Officers, Legislative Liaisons, Alumni Directors and the campus volunteer alumni representatives on the CSU Alumni Council who work closely with your campus advocacy programs.

This year’s program has been designed to provide "something for everyone" and features an exciting agenda and guest speakers. Not only will you have the opportunity to plan your own advocacy strategy, you will have the benefit of legislative input and critique from former Assembly Members Rudy Bermudez and Russ Bogh; and campaign training by APCO Worldwide consultants Jose Hermocillo and Jerry Azevedo. The keynote speaker is Dan Weintraub, a political columnist with the Sacramento Bee, and a San Diego State alum. What better way to get the "inside scoop" on how effective strategy planning can translate into success!

This is an exciting program and certainly well worth the time, effort, and money expended. We hope to see all of you in Sacramento!
