Category III Miscellaneous Course Fee, GEOL 2000- Executive Order Number 997

Attached is a copy of Executive Order No. 997, which authorizes California State University, Stanislaus to establish a Category III Miscellaneous Course Fee for GEOL 2000: California Geology.

In accordance with policy of the California State University, the campus president has responsibility for implementing executive orders where applicable and for maintaining the campus repository and index for all executive orders.

This executive order is issued under the authority granted by Education Code Sections 89035 and 89700, Standing Orders of the Board of Trustees, Chapter II, i, and Board of Trustees' Resolution RFIN 03-04-00, and consonant with Executive Order Number 740. Effective January 11, 2007, California State University, Stanislaus is authorized to establish a Category III Miscellaneous Course Fee for GEOL 2000: California Geology at a fee rate of $40. The fee will support bus transportation for essential field trips for this Geology course. In accordance with Section 89721(l) of the Education Code, revenue collected from Category III fees shall be deposited in a local trust account.
