Attached is a copy of Executive Order No. 968, which authorizes California State University, Dominguez Hills to establish a Category III CSC Computer Lab fee.

In accordance with policy of the California State University, the campus president has responsibility for implementing executive orders where applicable and for maintaining the campus repository and index for all executive orders.

This executive order is issued under the authority granted by Education Code Sections 89035, 89708, 89709, Standing Orders of the Board of Trustees, Chapter II, i, and Board of Trustees’ Resolution RFIN 03-04-00, and consonant with Executive Order Number 740. Effective January 10, 2006, California State University, Dominguez Hills is authorized to establish a Category III, CSC Computer Lab Fee for Computer Science sections CSC 101, 111, 121, 123, 195, 221, 251, 295, 301, 311, 321, 331, 341, 353, 401, 411, 451, 453, 455, 461, 481, 495 and 498S; at a fee rate of $30 per course to cover the cost of new software, upgrade software, computer supplies, security packages and laboratory maintenance via student assistants. In accordance with Education Code Sections 89704 and 89721(i), revenue collected from Extended Education and Special Session fees may be deposited either in the State University Continuing Education Revenue Fund in the State Treasury or in a local trust account.
