Extended Education Non-Credit Course Fees - Executive Order Number 937

Attached is a copy of Executive Order No. 937, which authorizes California State University, Fresno to establish Extended Education Non-Credit Course Fees.

In accordance with policy of the California State University, the campus president has responsibility for implementing executive orders where applicable and for maintaining the campus repository and index for all executive orders.

This executive order is issued under the authority granted by Education Code Sections 89035, 89708, 89709, Standing Orders of the Board of Trustees, Chapter II, i, and Board of Trustees' Resolution RFIN 03-04-00, and consonant with Executive Order Number 740. Effective March 7, 2005, California State University, Fresno is authorized to establish Category III, Extended Education Non-Credit Course Fees at a fee range of $50 to $7,500. Extended Education Non-Credit Course Fees will cover costs of a variety of extended education, non-credit course expenses that include certificate and travel programs. Each Non-Credit Course Fee rate shall be based on instructional, materials, and services costs incurred. In accordance with Education Code Sections 89704 and 89721(i), revenue collected from Extended Education and Special Session fees may be deposited either in the State University Continuing Education Revenue Fund in the State Treasury or in a local trust account.
