Attached is a copy of Executive Order No. 934, which authorizes California State University, Channel Islands to establish a Master of Business Administration Program Evaluation Fee, Housing and Residential Fines, Housing Repair and Replacement Fees, and Housing Meal Plan Card Fee.

In accordance with policy of the California State University, the campus president has responsibility for implementing executive orders where applicable and for maintaining the campus repository and index for all executive orders.

This executive order is issued under the authority granted by Education Code Sections 89035, 89700, 89703, 90002, and 90012 Standing Orders of the Board of Trustees, Chapter II, i, and Board of Trustees’ Resolution RFIN 03-04-00, and consonant with Executive Order Number 740. Effective January 27, 2005, California State University, Channel Islands is authorized to establish a Category III, Master of Business Administration Program Evaluation Fee, Category IV Housing and Residential Fines, Category IV Housing Repair and Replacement Fees, and a Category III Housing Meal Plan Card Fee. The Master of Business Administration Program Evaluation Fee is established at a fee level of $25 and will cover the cost to evaluate program specific requirements (essay, recommendation letters, work experience). Housing and Residential Fines are established at a fee range of $50 to $250 and will cover costs that include late payments, additional unregistered guests, extra cleaning, room change, and resetting of code. Housing Repair and Replacement Fees are established at a fee range of $36 to $1,500 and will cover the cost of housing repairs above normal wear and tear of the facilities. The Housing Meal Plan Card Fee is established at a fee range of $1,750 to $2,100 and will cover the cost of a student’s declining balance meal card. In accordance with Education Code Section 89724(a), revenue collected from the Master of Business Administration Program Evaluation Fee shall be deposited in the State Treasury and credited to the General Fund for the support of the university in addition to such other amounts as may be appropriated therefor by the Legislature. In accordance with Education Code Sections 90002 and 90074, revenues collected from fees for state campus lodging and services supported by the campus housing program shall be deposited in the State Treasury to the credit of the California State University Dormitory Revenue Fund.
