Miscellaneous course fees for Art 134 and 162, Biology 150; Category III fees for Graduate Level Masters Certificate, and Learning Disability Testing – Executive Order Number 1020

Attached is a copy of Executive Order No. 1020, which authorizes California State University, Sacramento to establish miscellaneous course fees for Art 134 and 162 and Biology 150, a Graduate Level Masters Certificate fee, and a Learning Disability Testing fee.   

The Student Professional Liability Insurance fee has already been approved by E.O. 986.  You can establish the Test of Essential Academics for Nursing as a “Special Examination Fee”, the Lost or Damaged Tablet PC fee as an “Item Lost or Broken Fee,” and the Psychological Counseling Services Cancellation fee as a “Failure to Meet Administratively Required Appointment or Time Limit Fee,” all of which were previously approved for systemwide use. 

In accordance with policy of the California State University, the campus president has responsibility for implementing executive orders where applicable and for maintaining the campus repository and index for all executive orders.

Title:

Miscellaneous course fees for Art 134 and 162, Biology 150; Category III fees for Graduate Level Masters Certificate, and Learning Disability Testing; - California State University, Sacramento.

This executive order is issued under the authority granted by Education Code Sections 89035, 89700, 89703, 90002, and 90012 and Standing Orders of the Board of Trustees, Section II (i), and Board of Trustees’ Resolution RFIN 03-04-00, and consistent with Executive Order Number 740. Effective September 24, 2007, California State University, Sacramento is authorized to establish the following fees at the specified fee rates: Category III Fee Rate Uses of the fee Art 134, Interdisciplinary Art Education $30 Art supplies including paper, paints, paintbrushes, pencils, charcoal, modeling clay, erasers, blue fabrics, papier-mache, wire and clay. Art 162, Alternative Photographic Processes $20 Supplies used to create photographic prints needed for student portfolios. Graduate Level Masters Certificate $10 Production of a graduate certificate for students completing certificate programs. Learning Disability Testing $100 Salaries and costs associated with testing over 70 students per year on campus. A sliding scale for students with demonstrated financial need will be available. In accordance with Section 89724(l), revenue collected all higher education fees should be deposited in a local trust account unless otherwise specified.
