Attached is a copy of Executive Order No. 1010, which authorizes San José State University to establish Category III miscellaneous course fees for the above listed courses.   

In accordance with policy of the California State University, the campus president has responsibility for implementing executive orders where applicable and for maintaining the campus repository and index for all executive orders.

This executive order is issued under the authority granted by Education Code Sections 89035 and 89700, Standing Orders of the Board of Trustees, Section II (i), and Board of Trustees’ Resolution RFIN 03-04-00, and consonant with Executive Order Number 740. Effective June 5, 2007, San José State University is authorized to establish Category III, Miscellaneous Course Fees in the following courses: Course Fee Rate Costs covered by the fee MatE 141, 143, 191, 210 $40 Consumables in labs MatE 169, 281 $60 Equipment service and maintenance and lab consumables ME 169 $60 Equipment service and maintenance and lab consumables ChE 180, 194, 281, 298, 299 $60 Equipment service and maintenance and lab consumables EE 169 $60 Equipment service and maintenance and lab consumables KIN 194 $28 Consumables for the labs, and upkeep and purchase of equipment for the rehabilitation equipment lab. KIN 195 $30 Consumables for the labs, and upkeep and purchase of equipment for the modality lab. In accordance with Section 89724(l), revenue collected all higher education fees should be deposited in a local trust account unless otherwise specified.
