Category III fees including Graduate Continuation Fee, Hematology Lab Fee CLS 307L, Kinesiology Department KIN 180A Fee and University Housing Application Fee – Executive Order Number 1002

Attached is a copy of Executive Order No. 1002, which authorizes California State University, Dominguez Hills to establish the above listed fees.

In accordance with policy of the California State University, the campus president has responsibility for implementing executive orders where applicable and for maintaining the campus repository and index for all executive orders.

Title:

Category III fees including Graduate Continuation Fee, Hematology Lab Fee CLS 307L, Kinesiology Department KIN 180A Fee and a University Housing Application Fee - California State University, Dominguez Hills
 

This executive order is issued under the authority granted by Education Code Sections 89035, 89700, 89703, 90002, and 90012 and Standing Orders of the Board of Trustees, Chapter II, i, and Board of Trustees’ Resolution RFIN 03-04-00, and consonant with Executive Order Number 740. Effective February 21, 2007, California State University, Dominguez Hills is authorized to establish the following Category III fees at the stated fee level and for the purpose indicated: Category III Fee Title Fee Rate (unit/flat/term) Costs Covered by the Fee Graduate Continuation Fee $145 (1 unit) Administrative costs, and faculty time. Hematology Lab Fee CLS 307L $20 Costs to purchase disposable lab equipment and supplies. Kinesiology Department KIN 180A Fee $10 Intramural Program costs including equipment, materials, referees and student assistants. University Housing Application Fee $30 Assist in covering administrative costs associated with processing housing applications. In accordance with Section 89721(l) of the Education Code, revenue collected from Higher Education Fees, including miscellaneous course fees, and housing fees, shall be deposited in a local trust account and handled according to any other governing codes that apply. In accordance with Education Code Sections 90002 and 90074, revenues collected from fees for state campus lodging and services supported by the campus housing program shall be deposited in at local trust account to the credit of the California State University Dormitory Revenue Fund.
