Trustees Appoint HSU President

The CSU Board of Trustees has named Lisa A. Rossbacher as president of Humboldt State. Rossbacher is currently serving as president at Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Ga. and begins her new position in July. She will succeed President Rollin Richmond who has served as HSU president since 2002. More.

Monville Appointed Alumni Trustee

Trustee Lou MonvilleThe CSU Alumni Council has appointed Lou Monville to the CSU Board of Trustees as the Alumni Trustee.

Monville, an alumnus of CSU San Bernardino, will begin serving a two-year appointment as Alumni Trustee in May. More.

Grants Fund Teacher, STEM Education

The CSU has received a $3 million grant from the S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation for teacher education and a $4.6 million grant from The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust to support students pursuing degrees in the sciences.

Students Give Free Tax Prep

This tax season, CSU business and accounting students are gaining real world experience as they give back to the community by providing no-cost advice and assistance to low-income taxpayers. More.
