Capital Training Program 2007
Commissioning

A one-day course designed to provide planners, project managers, directors of plant operations and other responsible campus parties with an overview of the commissioning of CSU capital projects. Topics include:
- Overall description of the commissioning process
- Roles and responsibilities of A/E, commissioning agents, university personnel and contractor
- Sample Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to hire a commissioning agent
- The CSU Master Enabling Agreement (MEA) for commissioning
- Preselected firms to provide commissioning
- Funds for commissioning
- How to issue commissioning work on a project
- Managing the commissioning process
