Effective Date of Coverage Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Leave
Represented and nonrepresented employees deemed eligible for Maternity/Paternity/
Adoption Leave are covered by this benefit from the date of hire.
For newly hired employees that need to utilize such leave during the probationary
period, may have the probationary period extended upon return from the leave. Please refer to
the appropriate memorandum of understanding (MOU).
