1. Call to Order
   Vice President and Chair Kim Gannon called the meeting to order at 4 p.m.

2. June Program Planning
   1. Topic
      1. Board Development: From Recruitment to Retention
         1. Outside speaker suggestions:
            1. Person who spoke at CASE in Anaheim (Randi Moore brought in)
            2. Bob Rivinios, CEO, California Building Industry; Steve Black will contact

3. Best Practices
   Group liked the idea of having Best Practices complement the program when appropriate but suggested allotting more time and/or having table for materials. For example, at June meeting have sample board member job descriptions, training and orientation packets, board binders, bylaws, sample interview questions, etc.

4. IV. Program Evaluation
   Group discussed evaluating the program topic/speaker of each meeting; suggestion was made to have an evaluation form for the whole Alumni Council meeting with a section on the program portion to give the Executive Committee feedback and to collect information on future topics.

5. Resource Page on Alumni Council Website
   Suggestion was made to give Council members a list of specific topics to add the web page, such as association bylaws, nomination process information, membership materials, chapter handbooks and chapter information, events calendar for year, etc.
