Commendation of Dr. Jerry Shapiro

WHEREAS, Senator Jerry Shapiro has thoughtfully served San Francisco State University as a faculty member in the School of Social Work as well as the campus and statewide Academic Senates; and
WHEREAS, Senator Shapiro has enthusiastically participated as a member of the ASCSU Faculty Affairs Committee; and
WHEREAS, Senator Shapiro has made a major contribution to the ASCSU through his work on the CSU Select Committee on Mental Health Services; and
WHEREAS, Senator Shapiro has regularly attended senate plenary sessions and communicated his views with passion and conviction; therefore be it
RESOLVED: That ASCSU extends its thanks and appreciation to Senator Jerry Shapiro and wishes him continued success in all future endeavors.
